How to be cool and motivated in hot summer

The climate also plays an important role in our life; the cloudy and mild cold breeze makes even a lazy guy to jump upside down. The hot summer makes a proactive energetic guy to procrastinate even his regular activities. The effects of hot summer can be defeated by shifting or taking a tour to hill stations, but it is not possible for everyone due to time, money, family and career. So in order to weaken the effect of hot summer, I have shared a few tips on how to be cool and motivated.

  • Summer season drains our energy and positive thoughts also it makes us feel tired and lazy.
  • Hot waves affect our mental health and interpersonal relationships
  • It affects our physical and emotional well-being
  • Heat waves reduces tolerance, comfort-ability and sharpness of our senses
  • Hot summer increases anger, irritation, stress, aggression, depression, sleeplessness
  • Creates heavy load on heart and blood circulation
  • Make us idle and feel bored

Tips to be cool and motivated in hot summer

Reading Books:

One of the solutions to be cool and motivated is to read books that are highly energetic. Some of the highly energetic books that i recommend are:

These books make you feel to “Live the life you’ve dreamed” at any situations of life.

Morning Meditation:

Morning meditation for few minutes will help you out in relaxing yourself and increases the attitude of tolerance and self-control.

Find a right time and schedule it:

Fix a time say, “I need to work for 5 hours continuously and then I won’t touch my laptop for next 3 hours”, this kind of scheduling and planning increases the enthusiasm to make the available time useful.

Find some relaxation and pleasures:

If you are a foodie, then everyday have some ice creams with little walk after lunch or if you love playing with dogs spent some time on it, all these activities create a pleasure and satisfaction to avoid distractions from sun and negative summer emotions.

Boost your thoughts:

A stronger mind will help you in thinking wiser in any circumstances; fix one thing – “What is not started today is never finished tomorrow” it will help you in overcoming the problems of procrastination, laziness and negative thinking.

Take a cool breathe:

Take a regular break for 10 minutes in between your work. Come out from your work spot and find a place with cool breeze or trees to relax yourself for 10 minutes. These kind of regular breaks in life or in daily activities help you to be cool and relaxed even during burnouts. It changes the way you think and act, it provides a path to find yourself and your needs.  It helps you in speaking with your mind.

Always remember anything is possible in this world, even you can roast chicken at 12pm in the mid of Sahara desert, but the requirements are “Change your thoughts and you change your world.”

In order to bear the sun’s heat and boost your energy, some of the food & lifestyle recommendations are:

  • Hang wet curtains in windows and doors
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Eat fruits like orange, watermelon, pineapple, grapes
  • Change your normal tea into iced lemon tea
  • Use the flavor of mint to refresh
  • Try to take sun bath
  • Use essential oils to cool the summer
  • Watch adventurous and romantic movies
